Jeremy has a BSc (Geology) and PhD from the University of Aston Birmingham, and an MSc from the University of South Carolina. His career started as a sedimentologist with GAPS Geological Consultants (1988). He then undertook five years post-doctoral studies at the University of Aberdeen, before joining Z&S (1994) working on borehole image data. He established the Z&S office in Perth WA (1996-1998), subsequently spending eight years with Baker Atlas as Asia Pacific Geoscience Manager, and finally Asia Pacific Sales Manager, before joining Task Geoscience in 2006. He is currently Task Fronterra Geoscience’s Global Business Development Manager.

DAVID A. CASTILLO
GeoMechanics

Director of a company providing integration of geomechanical advise across multiple disciplines within oil & gas, geothermal and C02 sequestration operators. Applications include pre-drill predictions, real-time verification while drilling, predicting responses to hydraulic stimulation and C02 feasibility studies. Extensive international experience as a Geophysicist which included ensuring high quality geomechanical consulting services within GMI and Baker Hughes. Applications included unconventional reservoirs, deep water drilling, 5-year technology planning and C02 planning. Designed a data acquisition program for and mentoring for operators interested in developing their own internal geomechanics team.

ALEX AITKEN
Approval and Permitting

Alex Aitken has extensive experience in land management, agronomy and the rural sector. His background includes 21 years as a farmer and 23 years in Agribusiness where he attained positions at senior management levels. Alex’s current role as Stakeholder and GIS Manager involves (amongst other things) negotiating between farmers, industry and governments regarding pipeline, seismic survey, well drilling and other infrastructure access. Alex’s suitability for land liaison is based on his significant Agribusiness and farming background. He has significant experience in land care and conservation including restoration of farming and pastoral lands after pipeline construction. All Alex’s roles have required the ability to communicate with farmers and suppliers alike. Alex has extensive experience in negotiating and consultations with local, state and federal government bodies and Ministers. These consultations have ranged from pipeline access to representation for the National Firearms Buy Back Scheme.

DR JOSEPH HAMILTON
