Provided personnel for a deepwater exploration and appraisal campaign in a high pressure high temperature environment off the north west coast of Australia. This is only Australia’s 3rd HPHT well over the past 10 years and the operator’s first.
After providing wellsite geological consultants for a greenfield gas and liquid stripping project in the Timor Sea, AIPC was called upon again, 4 years later, to provide operational support personnel to the subsurface technical team in addition to wellsite geological supervision for the Phase 2 development of the same project. This project required individuals capable of communicating the requirements for geosteered well placements in challenging, tectonically stressed drilling regimes using new technology for data acquisition previously considered not cost effective in such drilling environments.
Provided a complete drilling operations team for three exploration wells drilled in shallow water with a semi-submersible, Challenging metocean environment with extremely hard seabed.
Completions and subsea engineering for three geo-steered horizontal wells, sand screen and dual ESP completions utilizing horizontal Christmas trees from a mid-water semi.
