Onshore Papua New Guinea
AIPC provided a cohesive wellsite team with experience to oversee a drilling program on the heli land rig in the Southern Highlands of Papua New Guinea. This was a challenging campaign dealing with constant land owner issues and all logistics and equipment transportation provided by helicopters being subject to constantly changing weather conditions. Complex wells were drilled with foam through cavernous carbonates and fractured formations. Directional wells drilled with high mud weights to control tectonically stressed and severely overpressured formations.
