From 2003 to date, AIPC were the sole provider of wellsite and operations geologists overseeing development and production campaigns on the Chayvo and Odoptu fields in the North Sakhalin Basin (over 25 wells), drilling in Mid Miocene to Pliocene siliciclastic marine sediments and fluvial prograding deltaic deposits in faulted anticlinal structures.

The offshore fields have been exploited using the land based Yastreb drilling rig and the offshore iceflow resistant Orlan gravity platform. Six of the world’s 10 record setting extended reach wells were drilled including the world’s current longest well with a total measured depth of 12,345m and horizontal displacement of 11,475m. All wells have been evaluated using LWD formation evaluation wireline replacement tools.
